Rules
The game’s objective is to answer the three daily questions posted twice per day in the #chat channel as quickly and accurately as you can. You have a set number of seconds to answer each question correctly. The faster you answer correctly, the more points you earn. The answers to the questions will ALWAYS be in 1-5 emojis. The time limit for each question will be posted with the question.
Scoring
You earn one point for every second remaining on the clock.
For example, if you answer a question correctly within the first 10 seconds, you will earn 90 points. You can earn a bonus of 5 points if you answer first and correctly. You have the opportunity to guess as many times as you like within the allotted timeframe.
Yat-E (our excellent bot) will share a hint when 30 seconds remain and if someone has correctly answered the question.
You can view your standings on the channel when the time has run out.
Prizes
Prizes are awarded daily, weekly, and at the end of the season. For a full list of prizes see the overview on Discord at #YatGenius.
$10,000 Discord Nitro will be given away through the Yat Genius bot in 2022. **ONLY our verified bot will reward the prize* Please don’t click on links claiming to give away something on our server.
Prizes are subject to change at any time.
Larger prizes will be awarded to participants in the Yat Bot Championship, which will feature the top 100 players over a determined timeframe. The date for that event is TBD; please check in on the Yat Chat to find out the details.

See Your Rank
Using the /performance slash command in the #chat channel will reveal a sharable graphic showing your early game or late game results, as well as other game performance info.

Yat Genius Scorecard
Each game performance in Yat Genius (both the Early Game and the Late Game) will display a performance scorecard.
This scorecard can be accessed by tapping the "Your Performance" button or using the /performance slash-command in any channel.

The scorecard graphic above shows how you performed in-game.
Each question of the game is a single row of icons and each row is divided into 5 sections. Each section represents 20 seconds of the 100-second answer window. The first 20 seconds of the question is on the far left and the last 20 seconds is on the far right.
means you didn’t answer the question correctly in that span of 20 seconds
🤚means you got it right in that span of 20 seconds
🧠means you got it right first - before everyone - in that 20 seconds
