Are Gems Digital Assets?

Yes, Gems are Digital assets. Each Gem follows the ERC-1155 standard. Currently, they are only issued on Ethereum. Gems are free to mint. You need only pay for gas. 

The Magic Mirror may choose to grant Gems on other chains in the future...
